Rooted in Community

  • Chris Chandler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 19 states, Professional Coach, Clinical Advisor of Relay Health, and serves on the board of the American Foundation for Addiction Research (AFAR).

    He is a Certified Sexual Addiction Counselor Supervisor (CSAT-S) and Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping men recover from addictive, compulsive, and self-medicating behaviors. He has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings.

    Chris lives in San Diego, CA with his wife and 3 daughters.

  • We are a Christian, men’s, recovery community built on the biblical passage Ezekiel 37:5 — “This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.”

  • Long-term addiction recovery requires learning how to connect safely to God and others. It is not simply a behavioral problem.

    Each gentlemen completes curriculum that teaches them the following:

    1. How to Stop the Behavior (Behavioral Changes)

    2. How to Identify & Process Pain (Core Changes)

    3. How to Repair & Maintain Healthy Relationships (Relational Changes)

  • We assist men ages 18+ with any of the following addictive and compulsive behaviors:

    • Porn

    • Sex

    • Gambling

    • Work

    • Food

    • Overspending

    • Video Games

    A majority of the men in our community are married, Christian, men that are newly working a recovery program for porn and sex addiction.

    If you are single, you are welcome.

    If you practice a different religion, you are welcome.

    If you are an “old timer” in recovery, you are welcome. (We have advanced curriculum available.)

    If you would like help with an addictive or a compulsive behavior besides porn or sex, you are welcome.
