Ezekiel 37:5

This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones:

I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.

Our Mission

Breath to Bones is a brotherhood of men committed to Christ-centered recovery.

Together we break free from destructive behaviors, rewire our brains, and rebuild relationships with God, ourselves, & others.

We move from isolation to connection.

From death to life.

Real Men.

Real Connection.

Real Recovery.

You’re exhausted from fighting alone.

And you were never meant to.

We are a brotherhood of men who are done hiding, done pretending, and done white knuckling recovery.

This is real transformation practiced in community.

We Train Together

We train honesty.
We train regulation.
We train connection.

Because the brain changes through relationship and repetition.

We Heal Together

No shame.
No shortcuts.
No isolation.

We face the roots of our core wounds.

Men heal when they are fully known and fully loved in their pain.

We Build Together

We rebuild integrity.
We rebuild marriages.
We rebuild communities and legacies.

Recovery is not just stopping something.
It’s becoming someone.

This is where dry bones breathe again.

It’s time!

"Its like church without the bullsh*t."

John P.

"I came here to quit porn. I stayed because I learned how to actually live as a healthy, connected man.”

Jacob S.

”I’ve done accountability groups. I’ve done therapy. I’ve done church. This is the first place that brought clinical depth, Christ-centered truth, and daily connection into one system.”

Robert M.

Welcome to the brotherhood!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The anchor of the program is a 90-minute connection group that meets once per week. That weekly group is where the deeper relational work happens, and it runs in 12-week quarters with new content each quarter.

Beyond the weekly connection group, your subscription gives you access to roughly 10 hours per week of additional content groups: morning meditation, recovery basics, end-of-week recovery plan review, and others. You can participate in as many or as few of these as fits your bandwidth and your stage of recovery. None of them are required. They are there for the men who want more, when they want more.

Between sessions, there is also weekly homework delivered through the Breath to Bones app: readings, videos, and exercises. The group stays connected through an ongoing chat in the app, so the work continues to breathe between sessions.

  • Groups meet virtually each week, which keeps the brotherhood accessible regardless of where you live. That said, in-person connection is a core part of the Breath to Bones rhythm. We host monthly breakfast meetups in select cities, and we offer optional in-person intensives twice per year for men who want to go deeper. Men in group also regularly coordinate to meet up locally whenever possible.

  • Groups are $70 per week, billed on a subscription model.

  • Groups are capped at 10-12 men, which keeps the circle small enough for real honesty and consistent participation. You will not get lost in this room.

  • The Breath to Bones community spans a wide range of seasons. We have men in their late teens working through this early, men in their thirties and forties navigating marriage and fathering, and men in their seventies who are doing the deepest healing of their lives. The full range is roughly 18 to late 70s.

Because we run multiple groups simultaneously, we are usually able to place men in a group that fits their general season of life and stage of recovery. Group composition matters: a 22-year-old and a 65-year-old often need to be in different rooms, not because they cannot learn from each other, but because the texture of their lives and the language they need are different. We do our best to match you with men who are walking a similar road.

  • Yes. What is shared in group stays in group. This is a foundational commitment, and one we discuss explicitly at the start of every cohort.

  • No. The Breath to Bones framework is grounded in a Christ-centered worldview, and we hold that frame with conviction. We are not trying to hide it, soften it, or apologize for it. It is the soil this work grows from.

We are also not trying to convert anyone. Men of every faith background, and men of no faith background, are welcome here. The only real requirement for showing up is a genuine willingness and desire to get healthy. If you can engage the Christian framing of the work without it being a barrier for you, you will be at home in this group, whatever your beliefs.

The clinical and therapeutic foundations of the program (Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory, attachment work, post-traumatic growth, neuroscience of compulsion and recovery) are valid and powerful regardless of faith background, and the brotherhood of the group is real for every man in the room.

  • No. Men come into this group at every stage. Some are new to recovery and just beginning to put words to what they've been carrying. Others have years of work behind them and are looking for a deeper, more integrated approach. What matters more than your timeline is your willingness to be honest, show up, and do the work alongside other men who are doing the same.

Most men in the group also have individual therapists, sponsors, or other forms of support. We are one piece of a larger recovery framework, not a replacement for it.

  • Absolutely! A growing number of single men are coming to the program. They are recognizing they have a problem and want to get healthy before a relationship, rather than waiting until they have hurt someone they love to do this work. Others are coming out of relationships and want to make sure they enter the next one as a different man. Wherever you are, this is a good place to start. The work of becoming a whole, integrated, present man is the same work, partnered or not.

  • You are still welcome here. Your recovery does not depend on hers. While the men's group runs in parallel with the women's program, and many men find it powerful when their partner is also doing the work, this group is yours regardless of where she is on her own journey.

  • There are two ways to join. You can sign up directly for the interest list and step into the next forming group, or you can schedule a free 30-minute consult with me first to learn more about the program, share a bit of your story, and make sure this feels like the right next step for you.

Either way, your first group session is free. You are welcome to sit in, see what the group feels like, and decide from there whether you want to commit. No group agreement, no charge, no pressure until you know this is the right place for you.

Get Started

There are two ways to join. Pick whichever feels right for where you are.

Option 1: Schedule a free 30-minute consult

If you would like to talk before you check out a group, schedule a brief call with Chris Chandler. You can share a little of your story, ask any questions you have about the program, and we can make sure this is a good fit for where you are right now.

Option 2: Jump straight into a group

If you are ready to step in without a consult first, you can schedule your free trial group directly. Pick from the groups with current availability, attend your first session this week or next, and see how it feels. You are welcome to try more than one group to find the room that fits you best.
